    Default Should I Boost My 97 rs?

    i have a 97 eclipse rs...its the 420a motor...should i boost it and be diff but not sure if fast....or should i get a 3g63? what do you guys think?

    alot of people have boosted the 420a engine and they can be plenty quick, there are kits out there that are pretty much plug and play. just make sure to keep the boost relatively low if your planning on running stock internals 7-8 psi. and you are going to need some larger injecters and a bigger fuel pump as well as something to tune with like DSMLINK. you could probably get away with untuned but always better sfen than sorry. check out www.dsmtuners.com lots of good info and helpfull people on there.

    You can make a 420a quick, but they dont make a DSM link for it. This is our 420a DSM, its still the worlds quickest and fastest 420a DSM.

    I stand corrected regarding the dsmlink, its been a while since I poked around the hood of a n/a eclipse.
